Swifty is the man responsible for the design of the 30 first Mo’ Wax sleeves. He also built the label’s early graphic identity, including the legendary logo. Before I launched the site I knew that I wanted him to be the first to answer a few questions about the Mo’ Wax history. Here are his words.

The now defunct The Face magazine followed James Lavelle and the Mo’ Wax crew in a trip to the West Coast of the USA, where they were supposed to work on the then-forthcoming UNKLE/Belmondo album. The project was later abandoned but eventually gave birth to Psyence Fiction. Expect to read things and people you’ve never heard of before.
